The iPad Air 2 is Apple’s sixth generation tablet. Announced at the same event as the iPad mini 3 in October 2014 the Air 2 is thinner and faster than the original iPad Air, with a new Apple A8X processor providing 40 per cent better CPU performance and two and half times better graphics than the iPad Air according to Apple.
The 9.7-inch multi-touch display features a laminated finish and anti-reflective coating, along with the now-standard Retina Display with 2048 x 1536px at 264ppi. A new 8MP back camera with slo-mo at 120fps is fitted, along with new gadgets like iBeacon microlocation and Touch ID fingerprint recognition in the home button.
